In various surveys and focus groups of students about services the Loker Student Union could add or enhance, director Cecilia Ortiz and her staff noticed a theme: students wanted more comfortable seating in the main food court and they wanted microwaves to heat up food they bring from home. Monday, both requests were fulfilled with the completion of a construction project to add 15 booths along the wall between the Club 1910 restaurant and Johnnie's NY Pizza and the windows facing the north lawn. Auditions For CSU Dominguez Hills’ Production of “School for Scandal” Set for February 13 and 14
Students, faculty and staff as well as the public are invited to audition for a role in the California State University, Dominguez Hills Department of Theatre Arts upcoming production of Richard Brinsley Sheridan's play “School for Scandal.” Auditions will be held on Feb. 13 and 14 beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the University Theatre's main stage. Young Scholars Program Marks 20 Years of Educating High School Students
Thousands of high school students throughout California have been able to earn college credit prior to graduation–saving them money and reducing their time to a college degree– through the California State University, Dominguez Hills Young Scholars Program, which turns 20 in 2014. In partnership with the California State University Office of the Chancellor, California State University, Dominguez Hills hosted the first in a series of United States Department of Education (DOE) public hearings on President Barack Obama's College Affordability Initiative on Nov. 6.
