Bucher, a prominent Los Angeles-based graphic designer, motion graphics artist, illustrator and author for a guest lecture at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 30, in the University Art Gallery. Bucher has created designs for David Hockney, Sting, time-lapse drawings for PBS's “The Electric Company” and typography for such television shows as “The Fall,” “Immortals” and “Mirror Mirror.” He is also the creator of the popular online animation series, Daily Monster.
