Lessons Learned Underscore the True Value of Student Research Day
Student Research Day (SRD) continues to be California State University, Dominguez Hills' (CSUDH) premiere showcase of quality student research, and this year's 14th annual competition on Feb. 13-14 was no exception. Beyond the well-deserved accolades and camaraderie students receive, the lessons they learned and applied underscore the true value of SRD and make all their hard work worth it. CSUDH Play ‘No Exit’ Explores Guilt as the True Nature of Hell
(Carson, Calif.) California State University, Dominguez Hills' (CSUDH) production of Jean Paul Sartre's 1944 existentialist play “No Exit” explores how human interaction can reveal who people truly are and the debt they owe to themselves because of it. The show opens March 1 at 8 p.m. and will run multiple dates through March 17 in the CSUDH Edison Theatre. “No Exit” is set in the afterlife, where two women and one man are sentenced to live together for eternity. University Inaugurates Thomas A. Parham as 11th President
Words of admiration and promise filled the Loker Student Union Grand Ballroom as California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH) celebrated the investiture of President Thomas A. Parham on Feb. 8. The afternoon ceremony was attended by nearly 450 faculty, staff, students, political figures, and notable community member. Parham delivered his inaugural address after being formally installed as president by California State University (CSU) Chancellor Timothy P. White and CSU Board of Trustee Chair Adam Day.
