CSUDH Receives National Parks Service Grant to Lead Digitization of Japanese American Internment Documents
The National Park Service has awarded a two-year $321,554 grant to California State University, Dominguez Hills' (CSUDH) Archives and Special Collections to serve as principal investigator on a collaborative project between archives at 15 CSU campuses to digitize nearly 10,000 documents and more than 100 oral histories related to the confinement of Japanese Americans during World War II. Male Success Alliance Helps Carson Win All-America City Award
The City of Carson has been named a 2015 All-America City by the National Civic League in large part thanks to the role the California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH) Male Success Alliance (MSA) plays in the community. Members of MSA, including Acting Vice President of Enrollment Management and Student Affairs William Franklin, were in Denver last week for a three day 2015 All-America City Award conference that showcased the 16 finalist and culminated with the the announcement of the 10 winning cities. Summer Steinway by Starlight concert transports audience to bygone era
Visibly moved by the beat as they bobbed their heads and tapped their toes, audience members were transported back to the jazz age during California State University, Dominguez Hills' (CSUDH) Steinway by Starlight concert held on June 11 in the University Theatre.
