CSUDH Hosts Beam Signing Ceremony for Innovation and Instruction Building
(Carson, CA) - California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH) will host a beam signing ceremony on Nov. 14 at 11 a.m. for its new four-story, 107,600-square-foot Innovation and Instruction Building to mark a new phase in its construction, and celebrate its role in the transformation of the physical campus. The building is scheduled to be open in time for fall classes in 2021. During the ceremony, CSUDH President Thomas A. Parham and members of the campus community will sign their names and messages on the last steel beam to be placed during the framing phase of the Innovation and Instruction Building. After years of solid economic growth, the South Bay's local economy will experience some slowing in 2020, but will remain stable due in part to the federal government's high level of defense spending in the region.
