The opening reception is Thursday, April 6, from 5-7 p.m. Seen is an invitation to consider queerness in all its expressions. The works in the exhibition bear witness to the intricacies and wide spectrum of queer identities and way of embodying queer bodies. CSUDH Office Hours Presents “Insistent” Art Exhibition
Insistent, a group exhibition featuring CSUDH students and emerging and mid-career artists, is on view in LaCorte Hall B116 until March 23. The exhibition includes works on paper, sculpture, video, and textiles that are materially or conceptually conceived through multiplicity, accumulation, layering, obsession, or repetitive labor. One of the works on view is a textile installation by Bonded by Felt, a collective of the current CSUDH ART 392 Sculpture 2 class. Gerth Archives Marks New Milestones in Documenting History
The CSUDH Gerth Archives and Special Collections, noted for its preservation of Southern California histories and cultures, has had three major developments toward its mission of making materials more accessible to the public. The Archives is inviting the campus community and public to explore the newly completed Japanese American Digitization Project online, as well as the “Know Justice, Know Peace” exhibition currently on view in the University Library.
