“Content: 2020 Senior Studio Art Exhibition,” which features art created by Studio Art majors from California State University, Dominguez Hills’ (CSUDH) Class of 2020, will be on display online from Dec. 1 through Jan. 8, 2021, on the University Art Gallery’s website, gallery.csudh.edu.
Delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the “Content: 2020 Senior Studio Art Exhibition” features the work of 10 studio art students who graduated in spring 2020. As part of the Art and Design Department’s curriculum, each student is required to exhibit a selection of work produced during their studies at CSUDH. The exhibition is the culmination of those efforts.
“Our Studio Art students will have the fruits of their efforts exhibited in the University Art Gallery for all to view virtually,” said Jim Keville, chair of CSUDH’s Art and Design Department. “Although all the graduating seniors were worthy to have their work installed, not all were able to participate due to delays caused by the pandemic. The 10 artists in this senior exhibit represent the strong efforts of all involved – students, faculty, and staff. I wish to congratulate all our graduating Studio Art students in the Class of 2020, whether you were able to participate or not. I know you will have many more successes in your future endeavors.”
The “2020 Senior Studio Art Exhibition” is sponsored by the College of Arts and Humanities, and the Instructionally Related Activities Committee of the Associated Students, Inc. at CSUDH.
