The Office of University Communications and Marketing builds public understanding, recognition and support for CSU Dominguez Hills by shaping the image and voice of the University through coordinated communications strategies and media relations that position the University as an important urban center for teaching and learning, research, scholarship, creative activity and service.
University Communications functions as a full-service creative agency for institutional communications; print, Web, and electronic publications; marketing; and advertising.
Media Relations professionals work with journalists seeking information about the university, and help the administration, faculty and staff publicize university news. The office is responsible for communicating official university positions on issues of general, campus-wide impact or significance, as well as crisis communications during a critical or emergency situation.
