Since she arrived at California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH) in 2016, lecturer of environmental studies Jenney Hall has wasted little time developing new ways to teach students how to study and protect the environment, and how to grow nourishing crops for themselves and food insecure people. University Police Receive State Grant to Upgrade Radio Communications
The California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH) University Police Department has received an $84,706 grant from Cal OES' School Communications Interoperability Grant Program (SCIGP) to upgrade its handheld radios and enable communications with responding L.A County Sheriff's Department (LASD) units during a campus emergency. SCIGP grants provide funding for campuses in the California State University and California Community College systems to acquire interoperable communications technology compatible with modern and future systems. Virtual Graduation Celebration Honors Toro Class of 2020
The COVID-19 pandemic may have postponed commencement ceremonies for the Class of 2020, but California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH) still found a way to celebrate its graduates with a week-long Virtual Graduation Celebration. Given the task of quickly creating a series of online and virtual events to celebrate Toro grads, several departments teamed up and got to work.
