California State University (CSU) Chancellor Timothy P. White hosted a live-streamed conversation with Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. As COVID-19 cases continue to rise in the state, Fauci shared his perspective on the challenges and opportunities facing the 23-campus CSU system, the nation’s largest four-year university.

The CSU was first to announce a move to primarily virtual instruction for the 2020-21 academic year, prioritizing the health and safety of its campus communities during the pandemic.

The virtual event included a Q&A session between Fauci and the CSU campus presidents. The conversation is featured below in its entirety.
