After five years as a member of California State University, Dominguez Hills' (CSUDH) award-winning Western Model United Nations (WestMUN) delegation, Arnaud Lukombo has been nominated the prestigious position of secretary-general for the 2017 WestMUN conference. Lukombo's nomination came during the 2016 WestMUN conference at Santa Barbara City College on March 31-April 2. The secretary-general is the highest-ranking student position in the conference. Enthusiastic about sharing their knowledge and insights about their chosen careers, 26 alumni returned to California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH) as lecturers on April 4 and 5 for the university's 3rd annual Professor for a Day. Organized by the Office of Alumni Programs, Professor for a Day provides current CSUDH students a glimpse into the variety of fields and careers available to them after they graduate. When the last signature dried on the “promise agreement," college-ready high school seniors in Los Angeles Unified School District's (LAUSD) Local District-South were officially guaranteed admission into California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH). The university hosted the agreement signing in the Loker Student Union ballroom on April 8.
