Source: Daily Breeze California Attorney General Rob Bonta urged the Cal State Dominguez class of 2023 to find a calling they love — and to fight injustice wherever they see it. CSUDH Launches New Japan Jobs Training Program

On May 9, California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH) and the Consulate General of Japan in Los Angeles convened with Japanese industry and community representatives to announce the Japan Jobs Training Program, a new academic-industry partnership which promises to bolster Southern California’s workforce and provide hands-on learning opportunities for CSUDH students. The new program will be co-hosted by the Consulate General of Japan in Los Angeles, Japan Business Association of Southern California, and the Los Angeles Urban League. School of Public Service and Justice Director Gus Martin

The College of Business Administration and Public Policy's new School of Public Service and Justice has named its first director  – C. Augustus “Gus” Martin, professor of criminal justice administration. A nationally recognized expert on terrorism, homeland security, and criminal justice, Martin has been with the university since 2001. He has served CSUDH in a variety of roles, including associate vice president for faculty affairs and associate vice president for human resources management.
