Kavita Ramdas, former president and CEO of Global Fund for Women, was featured on Sept. 29 as the guest speaker for the second presentation of the Presidential Lecture Series at California State University, Dominguez Hills. Dr. Terrence Roberts, whose attempts to enroll in an all-white school in segregated Little Rock, Ark., with eight other African American students sparked controversy and debate nationwide in 1957, will give a guest lecture on Thursday, April 28, at California State University, Dominguez Hills.
