CSUDH Develops Course to Train DHR/Title IX Investigators
In December, CSUDH will roll out the first course in the history of the CSU system to train employees to become Discrimination, Harassment, and Retaliation (DHR)/Title IX investigators. But I’m out here beating the odds, and trying to be a symbol for other young Black artists.” Egere’s leadership, as well as his service promoting antiracism and culture change to elevate Black excellence, have earned him the CSU’s first-ever Black Student Success Scholarship, sponsored by the CSU Foundation. Egere is one of six CSU recipients for 2024-25, and will receive $5,000 in recognition of his efforts. “These scholars represent the highest ideals and brightest future of our university system and ... EdSource: CSU Campuses Focus on New Strategies to Help Students of Color
Source: EdSource Last year, Cal State campuses received some sobering details about the growing gaps in graduation rates between students of color and their white counterparts. Instead of decreasing, the graduation equity gaps between Black, Latino and Native or Indigenous students have been increasing. CSU’s Young Males of Color Consortium, which is housed at Cal State Dominguez Hills, received $3.2 million from a group of organizations including Ballmer Group, College Futures Foundation, ECMC ...
