In December, CSUDH will roll out the first course in the history of the CSU system to train employees to become Discrimination, Harassment, and Retaliation (DHR)/Title IX investigators. The initial cohort will consist of CSUDH faculty, staff, and administrators, but future courses will be open to employees of all 23 CSU campuses. The genesis of the course occurred at the July 2024 meeting of the CSU Board of Trustees. New Initiative with Toyota Aims to Improve Mobility for Underserved Communities
On April 30, CSUDH and Toyota Motor North America (TMNA) launched a multipronged program focused on transportation equity for the university and its surrounding communities based on the idea of “Mobility for All.” The initial phase of the program will establish the Center for Resilient, Equitable, and Sustainable Transportation (CREST) at CSUDH, made possible by a $1.2 million grant from Toyota.
