Parham received a Medal for Distinguished Service—the highest honor bestowed by the college. CSUDH's stalwart support for Latinx transfer students has earned the university recognition as a 2021 Equity Champion for Excellence in Transfer for Latinx Students. Announced at the Champions of Higher Education and Equity Champions for Excellence in Transfer annual awards ceremony, CSUDH's honor reflected the university's success in leading the state in supporting Latinx students through the Associate Degree for Transfer (ADT) program.
