California State University, Dominguez Hills health science majors in the Health Science Student Alliance (HSSA) spent Super Bowl Sunday promoting fitness as fun to children in the South Bay. Kaiser Permanente South Bay invited the student organization to participate in its annual Kids Corner as part of the 36th Annual Redondo Beach Super Bowl 10k/5k free Health and Fitness Expo. In partnership with the California State University Office of the Chancellor, California State University, Dominguez Hills hosted the first in a series of United States Department of Education (DOE) public hearings on President Barack Obama's College Affordability Initiative on Nov. 6.
