The CSUDH women's and men's basketball teams made Toro history over the weekend, with each securing CCAA Tournament Titles and earning spots in the NCAA West Regional Tournaments. The No. 1 seeded women's basketball team completed its championship mission on March 8, dominating No. 2 Cal Poly Pomona 77-54 in the CCAA Tournament Championship at The Sports Center. Overcoming fierce competition, the CSUDH Esports Overwatch 2 Team claimed first place in the second annual Cal State Cup, a one-day bracket exclusive to CSU campuses. For the second year in a row, the tournament was also broadcasted from the Toro Esports Academy, which features a state-of-the-art broadcast booth.
