So, when she was asked by “The Ellen Show” to help Christi Hoehn–a bilateral amputee–walk unassisted in just six weeks, LuÄarević was up for the challenge. Kennon's focus is mass incarceration in the Black community. “Not one single person who is male in my family has not been in prison,” she said. “That impacts the family dynamic horribly.” Kennon wants to reform the system and work in public policy and politics after school. Custodian Mario Villegas has been with CSUDH Facilities Services for almost seven years, contributing to keeping the campus looking great on a daily basis.
