College of Arts and Humanities Salim Faraji, associate professor of Africana studies, attended the 13th annual International Conference for Nubian Studies and presented a paper based on his 2012 book, The Roots of Nubian Christianity Uncovered: The Triumph of the Last Pharaoh. Faraji is the only Africana studies scholar in the U.S. who is a member of the International Society for Nubian Studies.
