On the Path of Space Shuttle Endeavour’s Final Flight
California State University, Dominguez Hills was treated to two passes of the Space Shuttle Endeavour as it made its final voyage on Friday, September 21. The NASA 747 and its "cargo" made a circuitous route around Southern California, passing over significant landmarks, including the Queen Mary in Long Beach and the USS Iowa in San Pedro, on its way to LAX. McNair Scholars on the Mark for Doctoral Programs
Earning a doctoral degree is a scholarly pursuit that may seem out of reach for many; however, the Ronald E. McNair Postbaccalaureate Achievement Program at California State University, Dominguez Hills is helping to make the advanced degree attainable. The program, funded by the U.S. Department of Education, provides financial support and academic guidance to encourage and prepare undergraduate junior and senior students for graduate studies.
