AACSB International (AACSB), the longest-serving global accrediting body for business schools, announced that it has extended the accreditation earned by California State University, Dominguez Hills’ (CSUDH) College of Business Administration and Public Policy (CBAPP). The extension will last for the next six years.

“The extension of AACSB accreditation reaffirms CBAPP’s position among the top business schools globally, a distinction held by less than 6 percent of business programs worldwide,” said CBAPP Dean Joseph Wen. “It signifies the college’s unwavering commitment to academic excellence, impactful research, and meaningful engagement with the business community.”

CSUDH was one of 72 institutions to have their business accreditation extended in 2025. They will continue to be one of AACSB’s 1,055 accredited institutions in more than 69 countries and territories worldwide.

AACSB accreditation provides a framework of 15 international standards against which business schools around the world assess the quality of their educational services. These standards ensure continuous improvement and provide focus for schools to deliver on their mission, innovate, and drive impact.

“AACSB congratulates each institution on achieving AACSB accreditation,” said Stephanie Bryant, the organization’s executive vice president and global chief accreditation officer. “The commitment to earning accreditation is a true reflection of each school’s dedication—not only to its students, alumni network, and greater business community—but to society as a whole.”

CBAPP was commended in several areas during its initial accreditation, particularly as a core component of the university’s growth strategy and plans to increase its footprint in the region, and its overall competitiveness among institutions of higher education. AACSB also found that overall enthusiasm and passion that permeates throughout the college for transforming the lives of its students and the communities CSUDH serves.

“This achievement enhances CBAPP’s reputation, providing students with assurance of a high-quality education that meets rigorous international standards,” said Wen. “It also strengthens the college’s appeal to prospective students, faculty, and industry partners, fostering opportunities for collaboration and innovation.”
