Doing his part to help increase college-going rates among African American students, California State University, Dominguez Hills President Thomas A. Parham participated in CSU Super Sunday, an annual outreach event held at predominately African American churches throughout the state.
Parham attended services at Glory Christian Fellowship International in Carson on Feb. 23 to share empowering messages with the congregation about the importance of higher education, and the life-changing benefits of earning a college degree. Joining him were members of the CSUDH Office of Educational Partnerships, who shared information about how CSUDH can support their educational goals.
