CSU Dominguez Hills Partners with Zipcar to Offer Car Sharing on Campus
California State University (CSU), Dominguez Hills launched a new partnership with Zipcar, the world's leading car sharing network, to offer a Zipcar car sharing program on campus. The transportation option is now available 24 hours a day, seven days a week for students, faculty, and staff ages 18 and older, as well as members of the local community ages 21 and over. CSU Dominguez Hills will initially offer two vehicles, a Ford Focus and a Toyota Prius. The Zipcars will have designated parking spots located in Parking Lot 3 near the Tamcliff entrance to campus for convenient pick-up and return. Are we going?” That's what California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH) graduate student Andre Green believes his new 2-year-old guide dog Heath is expressing each time they get ready to leave their home in Los Angeles to travel to campus, or to go on an errand. As they chowed down on food truck fare, were digitally transported to faraway lands, won a litany of prizes, and were dazzled by the sleight of hand of a roving magician, the staff at California State University, Dominguez Hills were honored July 31 for all their hard work during Staff Appreciation Day 2015.
