California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH) proudly presents Dreams and Diversity, the Fall 2025 Faculty Dance Concert. Dreams and Diversity is an inspiring showcase of original choreography by CSUDH dance faculty and distinguished guest artists Nana Su and Robert Laos. Under the artistic direction of Chelsea Asman and Cihtli Ocampo, this moving production will take place at the CSUDH University Theatre from November 5–8 at 7 p.m., with a special matinee performance on Friday, November 7 at 1 p.m.
Dance is the universal language through which we express identity, memory, culture, and emotion. In Dreams and Diversity, artists explore the deep connection between movement and meaning offering bold, expressive works that reflect the vast spectrum of human experience.
This year’s program features a vibrant range of styles and perspectives that highlight the richness of multicultural expression. Each piece serves as a testament to dance’s power to communicate across boundaries inviting audiences to experience the beauty and complexity of diversity in motion.
“Dreams and Diversity is more than a concert; it is a reflection of the world we live in and the stories that shape us,” said Artistic Directors Asman and Ocampo. “Through dance, we reveal not only our creative visions but also our shared humanity. This concert brings together voices from varied cultural backgrounds and artistic practices to celebrate what makes us unique and what binds us together.“
