High achievement engenders Toro Pride more than any other measure of success, and no group invokes that proud Toro feeling better than California State University, Dominguez Hills’ (CSUDH) more than 95,000 distinguished alumni.
To showcase their accomplishments, the Division of University Advancement created the “I’m a Toro” outdoor banners featuring some of its most successful and celebrated alums in fields of art and entertainment, civic leadership, teaching and school administration, and across the gamut of industries in the private sector.
With larger-than-life portraits of each alumna/us and bold personalized statements about their work and accomplishment, the banners draw the attention of passersby and are intended to inspire Toro Pride and serve as motivation for current students.
One of the goals of the campaign was to demonstrate to the public the depth of successful alumni from Cal State Dominguez Hills, and help current students visualize their potential and understand that when it comes to their future, the sky’s the limit.
The banners, 49 in all, went up around campus prior to the start of the fall 2016 semester and will remain throughout the 2016-17 academic year.
