September 13, 2018

STEM at CSUDH, grand opening of the Toyota Mobile Fab Labs on the north lawn of CSUDH

Kamal Hamdan, Annenberg endowed professor and director of CISE at California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH), as well as CSUDH students and K-12 parents/educators were interviewed at CSUDH for the CBS2 series “STEAM Sundays,” which features people who are making a difference using science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics (STEAM) approaches in their work. Sponsored by Toyota, the segment featured CISE’s fabrication laboratory located on campus and two of its four mobile fabrication laboratories, which were created by CSUDH in partnership with Toyota and the W.M. Keck Foundation to bring STEM education directly to students in K-12 schools in Los Angeles County.
