More than 350 educators, science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) professionals and nonprofit organizations, CSUDH math, science and teacher education majors, and high school students attended the 2015 STEM in Education Conference put on by the university’s Center for Innovation in STEM Education on Saturday, Oct. 24.

Author Lee Crockett was the morning keynote and talked about inspiring students to innovate.

Attendees were active participants in the conference, here working collaboratively on a construction project.
Anita Sengupta
JPL Aerospace Engineer Anita Sengupta was the lunch keynote speaker. She spoke about her work on the Mars Rover mission and being a female scientist.
