VIDEO: Biologist Terry McGlynn Leads Study in Costa Rica On Bullet Ant Foraging Habits
Terry McGlynn, associate professor of biology, was in Costa Rica in January at the Organization for Tropical Studies' La Selva Biological Station as a visiting professor for its Introduction to Tropical Ecology, a four-week course in field for graduate students. During the month students, who came from universities through the U.S. and abroad, also learned how to use video to share their work. As part of the learning process they produced videos for an internal Student Film Festival. Two California State University, Dominguez Hills digital media arts (DMA) students landed a gig that highlights their talent in a big way.
