Nancy Erbe, professor of negotiation, conflict resolution and peacebuilding (NCRP) at California State University, Dominguez Hills, has been awarded the 2014-2015 Fulbright-PUC (Pontifícia Universidade Católica) Rio de Janeiro Distinguished Chair in American Studies. The highest level of Fulbright, the distinguished chair is most often awarded in the STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) fields, and only one has been awarded this year in American Studies for Brazil.
