Undocumented Student Ally Coalition Stands its Ground for CSUDH Students
In a time of uncertainty for California State University, Dominguez Hills' (CSUDH) Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) students, the university's Undocumented Student Ally Coalition (USAC) is playing a vital role in helping advocate for their success, while partnering with those who are addressing their fears and concerns as the DACA program comes to an end. Seven years since its release, “Harvest of Loneliness,” Professor of Interdisciplinary Studies Vivian Price's award-winning film about the 1940s-1960s farm labor Bracero Program, continues to “deliver a much-needed fact check” regarding the history of immigration from Mexico to the United States.
