Brightwork newmusic ensemble(Carson, Calif.) “Lost and Found . . . again,” a free concert at California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH) performed by the Brightwork newmusic ensemble, musically explores what it means to be “lost over and over again, only to be found, albeit for a fleeting moment.” The concert will take place on March 5 at 7:30 p.m. in CSUDH’s newly renovated Marvin Laser Recital Hall, located in LaCorte Hall, room A103.

Brightwork newmusic is a classical new music sextet based in Los Angeles, California. The ensemble consists of piano, violin, cello, flute, clarinet, and percussion, and is to modern chamber music what the string quartet was to earlier centuries. “Champions to the best of the music that’s being written today,” Brighwork newmusic also continues to play the classics of “new” music from the last 100 years.
