Much of the Cal State Dominguez Hills campus, near Carson, spent the past four years undergoing renovations, remodels and other quality-of-life improvements - a lot of which occurred throughout the height of the coronavirus pandemic. At 28 years old, Rojas works on science experiments at the organic chemistry lab at California State University, Dominguez Hills. While attending school, she also balances a full-time job and married life.
