What: Dance Concert at CSUDH Theatre and Dance
When: Saturday, November 28 at 7 p.m., and Monday, November 30 at 7pm

“Crossroads” is a showcase of choreography for the screen. The works have been choreographed and filmed by CSUDH dance faculty members Amy Michele Allen, Shaunté Caraballo, Sarah Hummel, Jeff Hendrix, Robert Laos, Doris Ressl, and Kenneth Walker, and were performed by CSUDH dance students.
The faculty were motivated to turn art into activism, according to Allen, who said a quote by the late American statesman and civil rights leader John Lewis influenced the timing of the concert. Lewis wrote in 2016: “We may not have chosen the time, but the time has chosen us.”
