Chancellor Picks Toro Nation as First Stop on CSU System Tour
Dr. Joseph I. Castro, who became California State University (CSU) chancellor in January of this year, is embarking on a virtual tour of the 23-campus system - and CSUDH had the honor of being his first stop on Feb. 19. New COVID-19 Testing Protocols Take Effect
With COVID-19 cases surging throughout Los Angeles County, CSUDH has enacted a new testing program for students, faculty, and staff who will be on campus during the spring 2021 semester. Surveillance testing kicked off during the second week of January, with testing continuing every Wednesday throughout the semester. “We have implemented repeat testing this semester in order to provide a level of assurance to those working and learning on campus that they can be on campus safely,” says Nora Garcia, CSUDH Emergency Preparedness Manager. CSUDH Receives $1.18 Million for Successful Reduction of Greenhouse Gases
For its successful efforts in reducing greenhouse gas emissions (GHG), California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH) has received more than $1.18 million in performance payments from the Clean Energy Optimization Pilot, a four-year, $20 million effort administered by Southern California Edison (SCE).
