The California State University, Dominguez Hills Department of Theatre and Dance was honored with an invitation to perform a scene from the fall 2010 production of "Macbeth" at the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival (KCACTF), which took place Feb. 9 at the Los Angeles Theatre Center in downtown Los Angeles. Hedy Moscovici was recently selected as a Fellow by the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) for her research and service to professional organizations. The Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching has selected California State University, Dominguez Hills for its Carnegie Community Engagement Classification. Out of 305 universities that applied nationwide, CSU Dominguez Hills was one of only 115 given this distinction in 2010.
