In a time of uncertainty for California State University, Dominguez Hills' (CSUDH) Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) students, the university's Undocumented Student Ally Coalition (USAC) is playing a vital role in helping advocate for their success, while partnering with those who are addressing their fears and concerns as the DACA program comes to an end. Working with the administration and faculty to help make the university as energy efficient and environmentally aware as possible, while guiding student interns as sustainability leaders among their peers, California State University, Dominguez Hills' (CSUDH) new Office of Sustainability is dedicated to re-casting the university's ecological footprint into a smaller mold. University Breaks Ground on Cutting-Edge Science and Innovation Building
Dirt was shoveled, a massive banner was unveiled, and confetti shot into the air around a gathering of university partners, civic leaders, and a diverse mix of the campus community. It was official. On Sept. 28, California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH) broke ground in dramatic style on its long-anticipated $82 million Science and Innovation building.
