California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH) is among the nation's top producers of Fulbright U.S. Scholars for 2014-2015. With three faculty members awarded Fulbright grants this year, CSUDH made The Chronicle of Higher Education's “Top Producer” list among master's-granting institutions, based on information reported by the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. Michael Reodica, a business administration major at California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH), didn't have to jump through hoops to land his new gig as an intern for the Los Angeles Clippers, but it wasn't exactly a slam dunk either. Toro Guardian Scholars program receives $40k from Pritzker Foster Care Initiative
California State University, Dominguez Hills' (CSUDH) Toro Guardian Scholars (TGS) program has received a $40,000 grant from the Pritzker Foster Care Initiative to enhance its ability to connect former foster youth at the university to additional support services, new programs and increased guidance. When California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH) alumnus David Turner, III, went to a forum on college affordability in Nashville, Tenn., and posed questions regarding how underrepresented students such as himself fit into the equation, he was a bit astonished to find his inquires dismissed by the panel.
