The next time you’re in Welch Hall at California State University, Dominguez Hills come up to the fourth floor and check out the two new “wallpaper” displays that showcase the photographic talent of the university’s alumni, and a few current students.
The photo montages feature the work of alumni who earned degrees in art and design, digital media arts, as well as a few who majored in anthropology and communications.
An Art and Design Department selection committee, chaired by assistant professor Ellie Zenhari, selected the best photographs for the displays based on esthetics and technical quality.
These and other images may also be found on display during student art and photography exhibitions on campus, as well as throughout the year in the glass cases on the first floor in La Corte Hall.
The layouts for the displays were designed by Zenhari.
